'Angels & Demons'

Full story: Newsday

One way to pass the time during "Angels & Demons," a nearly identical repeat of "The Da Vinci Code," is to follow Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon as he parses ancient art for clues to an anti-Vatican plot.

Hollywood goes to great pains not to offend certain groups of people and their religions. Catholics are the exception.

Catholics are offended if you fart in your pew. TipToeing around any group is tiresome.

I agree. I can't wait for the movie that portrays the Gays and Joos in a bad light... Maybe throw in some Filthy Illegals as well.

It is not the first time the Hollywood dominion has tried to change the Biblical image of Jesus,or any of the churches that follow HIM.An interesting movie no doubt.Frankly I don't know if I have the time to see it. Would rather see the New Star Trek movie that just came out.Hollywood is about Money and lots of it,so we are all entertained, and we have a free-will to watch whatever, whenever and wherever! Maybe when it comes out in video I might see it.Do like Tom Hanks, and other actors are fine as well.Wonder if the movie will pay for itself when hitting the box-office these next few months?

Good advice, Star Trek turned out to be a terrific movie with a lot of surprises and a good cast. The last time Majal Barrett Roddenberry will appear in a Star Trek movie or t.v. show.

She passed away on December 18, 2008 of Leukemia just after finishing her part in the movie.

It would be nice if Ron Howard could make a thriller about the Antichrist. I wonder who he would cast to play the Pope ?

For an alternative to the dark ages and the Inquisition here is a thread with a new light on our existence that shatters the false teachings of all patriarchal churches:

That was brilliant..you AH0-le! I hope your family is embarrassed by what you said. They should be.
That wasn't an anti Catholic statement-just a fact. There is barely a movie out that the Church doesn't tell their parish NOT to see for one dumb reason or other. Please-I know that for a fact.
