Tarantino eager to see Jewish reaction to new film

I thought the film was Brilliant. It makes perfect sense that he would want to know the Jewish reaction to a Holocaust movie.

actually the Israeli film industry is making the best war films these days including believe it or not an animated film called 'Waltz with Bashir' and the upcoming 'Lebanon'. Both of these flicks are reminiscent of American films about Vietnam and are quite thought provoking. Waltz is a bit of a thinking man's film rather than a blood spatter orgy of violence not that there's anything wrong with that.

Walts with bashir it's anti-war movie, the director said that why he made the movie.

Israel has very good movies lately.
in saturday there was competition of Israeli movies, like Oscar, jsut in Israel.

and there was mvie about teh millitary but not about war, it's about 2 loner soldiers that get to a millitary jail.

And there was comedy movie with real meesage for life. it's movie about 4 fat guys.

and those movies are screened in a lot of countries in the world.

yet Waltz with Bashir was in fact a 'war' movie even if it's message is to turn against the crusade of war. As I recall Saving Private Ryan was in fact quite violent in it's depiction of battle but the difference is that hollywood due to the political nature of the media to assume that World War 2 was a noble effort while all other wars aren't. A good war film where the focus on lack of Victimization by the main character could be "The Hurt Locker' where a bomb tech(Jeremy Renner)decides to master the enemies tools of war instead of fearing it. The price he pays is his inability to interface with the real world but he is no victim. Seriously have you seen a pro war film lately? Hollywood won't make them unless they are video games
