???$22 million for a pier?? Why not just make it a public beach?$22 mil would give a lot of locals a break in property taxes, and home improvements.

When is the pier suppose to be finished?

if you take the money that is spent on the pier and apply that to the money they took from the teachers. they will not have to take a pay cut.

there is no beaches but they spend money on a pier? maybe they will use some of those sand bags that are on the beach to build the pier?

22 million for a pier, when the states finances are in the toilet.new guv cutting this(salaries),cutting that(state jobs),yet prisoners still have cable tv,and other luxuries we have to pay out the nose for, money for illegal immigrants, money for people who know how to work this system and dont want to work.it's time to step back, rethink our actions and make better use of our resources.n.c. should be a shining example our how to run a state, afterall,we are the best!

you got it. I am so sick of people who work the system, while we work to pay for them to do so. Easy answer to finding money in our own government, clean up and audit the miss use of funds. |

amen over it,amen when do we start?
