Actor and filmmaker Ron Howard has written a moving tribute to late U.S. funnyman Andy Griffith, praising the TV icon for teaching him the importance of laughter and of leading by example.

They did a tribute yesterday on MeTV I didn't get to watch gunsmoke or Bonanza, I was so looking forward to watching them both since I have been off work this week.

and now howard will turn a buck by making a movie about Griffith, since he's now essentially the last 'Mayberry resident' who can talk about him.
