I hated that car. It was I who destroyed the other one.

what a pointless waste when you can get a really
good Aston for under £100,000.

or, a very good E Type for much less, which was a far better car anyway.

Yes, but Mr Bond's old car has some cool extras, like an ejecting passenger seat and an oil slick/smoke thingy that you can use whenever a tailgater pisses you off.

It has a bladed thingy that comes out of the wheels and fcuks up the tires of anyone who dares overtake you.

It also has little pop-up gun things that you can use to spray pedestrians with bullets. Very handy for those times when you drive past the job centre just before 9am.

Q put a lot of thought into that motor.

My two favorite Bond movies are Goldfinger and Thunderball and that car was one of the reasons! But to pay 4.1 million bucks for it is ludicrous! The buyer must be a Saudi oil company owner.

Can't remember much about Thunderball, but I was watching Goldfinger the other day.

What a quality movie that is! Today's 'Bond films' aren't fit to scrape shit off it's shoes.

So true my friend, so very true! I don't even watch any of the newer Bond films any more. Too disappointing. If you have the chance to see it, you should watch Thunderball. As a true Bond fan (to me, that means people who understand that Sean Connery is the ONLY James Bond), I'm sure you would enjoy it.

I have seen Thunderball, but not for many years.

You're absolutely right about Sean being the only James Bond. I couldn't stand Roger Moore's depiction of the character, and the rest have been progressively worse, along with the quality of the movies.
