He's right--this is QUITE a bargain for the TOP SELLING FEMALE RECORDING ARTIST of our time to sell for $100! That's amazing. We paid $85 for Tina Turner 6 years ago, and those were nosebleed seats. Have you checked out football tickets lately? How talented do you really think a guy has to be to throw a ball to another guy without being killed? If you think it's easy to sing the way she does and do a 2 hour show alone and captivate an audience the way she does, then I just don't know. She's unique--that's it.

response to mike-tickets ARE NOT 100.00. seats in l.a. up in heaven if available 225.00- dec ent seats 700.00 and up to 1700.00. i don't know many seniors who can afford that-even youngsters have an issue with these prices. she is great but has priced herself out of my league.

ok ya prices are really high...but she doesn't have to prove anything or keep anyone happy. She's 64 and the best selling female recording artist of all time. Sure it sucks for people who can't afford to go but you get what you pay for. I mean, they're not going to reduce plane ticket prices to Tahiti just to appease the masses. I mean, she's one of the all-time greats, in 100 years people will still know who she is. So, it's the price you pay to see a living legend. I say vivre la Streisand! I'll be there even if I have to blow my student loan :-P

Of course these tickets are expensive. So what. I'll be flying in from The Netherlands and have a great MGM Grand Garden seat - very close to the stage. Of course this is going to cost me dearly, but again, so what. it's only money!

We bought 2 $350 tickets for the Chicago event that are terrific seats, right behind the $750 seats on the floor. There really are $100 seats that are not bad at all, and the way she does things, the acoustics will be prefect everywhere,a s will the jumbotrons. She plays to the audience, for the audience. Paying this much seems absurd, but considering that a vacation costs thousands (and this is such a treat),$350 is noting. It's my birthday and Christmas presents wrapped up in a grand experience. Wow. We couldn't afford Vegas tix in 94 or 1999, but this once in a lifetime event is a MUST for us. Go. HAVE A BALL!

Mimieux wrote: Barbra is worth any price of admission. You are so right! Her last tour came at a time when I still had one kid in college so money for Barbra just wasn't an option. But I always said that if she toured again I didn't care where it was or what the cost; I was there! And here I go - off to Las Vegas and the MGM Grand with a good ticket and finally going to see Barbra. So right - worth any price! And yes, there are $100.00 tickets in some venues.

Guys! With all respect..I am a devoted fan..I saw her in Sydney 2000.and it was GREAT..but I believe people is not questioning about how good She is..EVERYBODY knows it..and also about her status..But She " owns " that to all fans, older ,younger,etc..even to no fans..From my point of view...I wonder..Could not Barbra make some kind of arragements for of these 'people who needs people" and that can't afford such prices and ' allow' them the satisfaction of seeing her on stage..and the end of the day..She has nothing to prove..does she?

Hey all - well, my DREAM is finally coming true. I was able to get $350 tickets, directly behind the stage (I was assured that the stage is set up in a way that Babs will not only be singing to those in front of her, but also to those behind her). We are very, very close to the stage, as I have seen my seats and the view of the stage from my seats. I've waited, literally, most of my life to see/hear Barbra, and I am counting the days. To ANYONE who is disgruntle, keep in mind that a portion of the proceeds for ALL of these concert dates will go to charitable foundations, such as batter women, the homeless, education, and the environment - anyone who loves Barbra knows she is a concerned citizen of the U.S. and of the world, and I think her coming out of retirement to do these concerts and to give money back to those less fortunate is WONDERFUL. Also, Il Divo is a very respeced group, so it is like going to TWO concerts for the price of one. Like I said, I cannot wait for Oct. 28th...section 125, row 14, seats 23/24...BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida (Ft. Lauderdale area).....I'm SO PSYCHED.......later, all. P.S.- to all of you Babs Bashers out there - don't you have anything constructive to do with your sorry lives? Be gone with you - all of you!
