Man in Serious Condition After Early Morning Shooting in Raleigh County

Dont blame the club, blame the damn people. The Owner has been trying to get that place clean thats why it has been closed they just reopend and some asshole shot someone who is now fighting for his life, maybe you should be more concerned with that man and his family rather than a f**kin club.

Yes I too blame the club. Don't know how a felon on parole got a license to begin with after having just gotten out of the pen. Next, this is the second shooting in just a few months. When are the police going to do something about all the drugs being sold out of that bar instead of continuing to ignore it? How many more people have to be maimed or killed before they do something? You don't hear of shootings at these other places do you?

Actually yes there are shootings at other bars. Do you not remember the girl who was shot at the Stanaford bar a few years ago? She is forever in a wheelchair.

And a bar is what it is, a place for people to go find someone else to sleep with, blame it on the alcohol, and take back a STD to their bf/gf they have at home.

I hope for you Tonya, that your being so judgmental of people don't slap you in your face and come back on you ten fold. I am sure you are no more perfect than this bar owner.

If bar owners would screen felons & troublemakers, there'd be less trouble. The Stanaford shooting left a young women paralyzed forever and all she was guilty of was being near shooter - Stephen Burks. And where was Burks found? Willbrian apts - where was another shooting just this past Wed? Willbrian apts.

WHY was a 20 year old allowed in the bar anyway. I heard their was alcohol in his blood. Somebody is NOT doing their job checking to see if they are old enough. It's a good thing I am not the parents of that young man, I would make damn sure it would not open back up

Have u every heard of false IDs, we catch them every weekend, this shooting was retaliation from a shooting that happened at wilbrian apts. a few weeks ago! Its not the bars fault, its the determined shooters fault! So dont blame the people there at the bar or the owner, blam the shooter!

The eagles was a old peoples hang out, The club had nothing to do with the shooting, it was a retaliation shooting from last week at the wilbrian apts. Dont blame the club,blame the shooter that wAS INVOLVED!!

They need to move this place to east Beckley where it belongs!
