Fallon thinks this is no big deal ... after all the best could has been to severely reprimanded Fallon's house band for their inappropriate and demeaning choice of entry music for Michelle Bachman.
Severe reprimand?!
Are you kidding? No wonder Fallon isn't worried.
Had it been Michelle Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Hilary Clinton or Nancy Reagan, NBC would be on their hands and knees begging for forgiveness. The FCC, NOW, NAACP, Congress and others would launch investigations and using subpoena power where possible, would subject NBC executives, Fallon and everyone connected with the show at any time in any capacity to public humiliation. Background checks would be conducted and those having anything approaching a checkered past would be outed, their lives ruined, their families disgraced and their fortunes seized. NBC would ultimately be censured, fined and their license to operate suspended. There would be public guillotining of all those found guilty of working for NBC, their heads placed on pikes, their bodies burned, their ashes discarded. Remaining employees would be accused of child molestation, sexual harassment and illicit affairs by a plethora of anonymous victims and will will be banned from public places such as parks, zoos, playgrounds and pools.
Attention NBC: Grow a little backbone, demonstrate a commitment to respect and dignified treatment of all and that somebody with a sense of honor is in charge by doing the following:
1. Fire anyone who knew, should have known or was responsible to know. This would include the entire house band and the producer. This is called zero tolerance (in this case for astonishingly poor judgement.)
2. Insist Fallon apologizes to Bachman on air ... tweeting doesn't cut it.
