Actor checks into rehab again

Celebrities never seem to have success in 12-step based rehab, do they? They always wind up back in the news...Mel Gibson, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, David Hasselhoff, Charlie Sheen, on and on and on...
The average citizen doesn't make out any better actually. 12-step treatment and groups have a horrendous failure rate, yet the failure is always put on the individual, and the "success" stories credited to the programs.
Why can't most see the obvious? Must be the cash-cow factor, the money these treatment centers rake in is huge, and they have no accountability.
When will we wake up? Cult religion and quack medicine is not help.
