As a bible-believing Baptist called to confront sin, I must say I am sick and tired of people praising Richard Rossi instead of God. Along with other men of God like Rev. Fred Phelps, I have protested Rossi for being a "fag lover". He turned a solid fundamentalist Baptist church into an AIDS clinic with filthy faggots lying around on cots spreading their plagues. Rossi spends much time performing in the theatre with effeminate actors doing immoral plays. Rossi's novel "Stick Man" is blasphemous filth. I have led book burnings of his heretical "Stick Man" book and I have done extensive work documenting Rossi's dark past.(You can see much of my documentation on the "Talk" page of Rossi's Wiki article.) His movie on Aimee Semple McPherson was a disgrace. He has a strange theology and belief that God "loves everybody" when the scripture states clearly, "The Lord hates the evildoer." When he first moved to California in the 90's he had an adulterous affair with the actress Julia Roberts that was documented and my bible says all adulterers will burn in the lake of fire and be tormented in fire forever and ever. I know for a fact from some good brothers and sisters back east who were in his church in Pittsburgh before he moved to California that he is a major drug addict, on cocaine and heroin, hard stuff. That accounts for his strange behavior but does not excuse him before the wrath of Almighty God. He is a chrlatan who wants everyone in heaven including his sodomite theatre friends.

The above poster, who hides behind anonymous monikers,("Achristiansold ier" is his most common) is a mentally and spiritually sick individual who has been stalking and slandering Mr. Rossi for years. He has an obsession with following and gossiping about Richard. Frankly, I don't know if he ever writes about anything else. At times, Mr. Rossi has had to hire off duty policemen such as myself as body guards to protect himself.

After investigating the background of this individual, what is readily apparent is: 1) He has nothing to do but write against Rev. Rossi 2) He continues to propagate bizarre stories about Richard, and 3) He clearly exaggerates anything negative.

His obvious obsession is defaming Rev. Rossi. It is apparent when he writes a flurry of slanderous accusations and the said posters history on the Internet is exclusively of a defamatory nature dealing with articles on Rev. Rossi.

As a private investigator, I have looked into this sick individual's activities and background and reported him for stalking Rossi.

There has been much false reportage regarding Reverend Rossi. He was defamed terribly by the Pittsburgh press. Richard Rossi has a generous and artistic spirit. Those who have been focused on the negative stories and blown them out of proportion have been countered by more civil and balanced writers so that the positive aspects of his life and art are mentioned.

Richard Rossi has been legally vindicated. Ninety percent of the negative things written about Richard are untrue and for the sins he has committed he has asked forgiveness and he extends forgiveness to those who have slandered him.

Saw Richard shooting a scene with his two leads for his upcoming film on Roberto Clemente. I can't wait to see how this film develops.

Richard and his wife Sherrie are two of the finest people I know. They have been married 28 years. They give of their time, energy, and money tirelessly to the disadvantaged and hurting people in this city. They are talented and loving people and have a strong family and faith and love for everyone.

All the idiots who spread negativity about Richard will go away. What Richard Rossi has created as an artist, his films, acting performances, music, books, that will remain as his legacy and gift to the world. All the false gossip and controversy will disappear, in fact, to a large extent it already has because anyone who gets to truly know Richard's heart knows he is a pure and genuine soul.

Thank you Brandy for informing us. I saw Richard Rossi closing night. He stole the show in the second act with an overwhelmingly powerful performance in NUTS. His character starts out as a confident likable businessman who has the audience laughing and liking him, until he is exposed on the stand and becomes shamed, broken, and completely broken down mentally before the audience. An amazing piece of acting in an otherwise pedestrian approach to the play.
