Savant wrote: <quoted text> I don't think much of the thread either. Too bad people can't discuss the meaning of Malcolm X's legacy in the ongoing struggle for Black (and even world) liberation. The legacy is now the homosexuals are going to "borrow" black history for themselves for a while to get their "rights". Queers wear chains for fun but they will pretend they've suffered more then the black man. To the back of the bus black folks, queer is the "new black".

So many black men are on the down-low that things like this usually don't shock me, but this would make me lose faith in almost all black men...because Malcolm X was such a great realist & seemed like one of the few black men that had it together, it would break my heart for a moment.

And if he was bi sexual, which is most important his sexuality or his determination for Black people to suffer their own efficacy? man the nature of the white man even if it's in the black man... so let's continue with the debasement, why not? black men are criminals, black women have more abortions, black people make up most of the welfare recipients, etc.....lol Oh since we are so "bad" why don't you authorize Reparations so we can leave this place. Don't give it to those who want to stay among you, you can keep kickin their azzes in your myriad of ways.. He was probably gay. Afterall, he followed Eliza Homohammed.

Yep, I did, it seems to happen, in fact, without a white man putting a gun or whip to anyone's back. Hmmm.. wonder why? Can you give me some stupid explanation that it's the white devil disease? Hmm. what about those two blk people who are doing it here in 2009? Can you explain the down low culture thing? Hmm.. again, trying to play off what is right in front of your face and say it's something else. Yep, no personal responsibility for where you put your own piece. Every race is on the down low its so damn sad! 65 percent of black men are on the down low how SAD... I have met so many black men that are on the DL, but they don't know that i know that they are on the DL... but I know that their are on the DL, because my openly gay friends told me so.

I have heard about these rumors before. Infact they were not saying he was gay. The runors were that he was bi-sexual. But as far as I am concerned, there is no proof, and the man is not here to speak for himself, nor have we found any love letters, or any evidence for that matter. Until REAL evidence arises, this must be dismissed as just another story for shock value.

Bi-sexual or gay to me it is all the same, some people just use the opposite sex as a cover up...That does not necessarily mean that they like the opposite sex they just need a cover up.

Just because a bi-sexual male is married to a woman, does not mean he is using her for a cover up. Not all bisexuals are cheaters in their relationships. If some heterosexuals, gays, and lesbians can be faithful in relationships, then why can't some bisexuals be faithful in their relationships? Just becasue one has a certain sexual preference "bisexual" does not mean that person has to be a slut.

the article even states, "Moreover, that his faith and marriage to the beloved and revered Betty Shabazz", so they're letting you know that he was faithful to his wife, but they're still trying to call him a fag, people are willing to make up anything these days There is proof out there! X sex pix!

if you would commonsense, think about it , COINTELPRO,was using any means to discredit black leaders during and after Malcolm. If such knowledge about his sexuality was known they would have used it against him. much like they did against King in which claim committed adultery.
