Is Jason Statham channeling Nic Cage's Cameron Po from Con Air? Or is this just another way to get Straham behind the steering wheel of a car in a fake Transporter 3?

Death Race 2000 is great. Sylvester Stallone's first real movie. I hope with this movie coming out that Death Race 2000 makes it's way for a cable showing. Been awhile since I've ran into it.

Wow, nothing could have been better than Death Race 2000 to a ten year old, sneaking to watch it on ON TV!

I must have watched it 10-15 times back then. Now, when I bring it up in conversation, no one knows what I am talking about.

Having fun. I saw it yesterday morning, it was an hour and three quarters of go. Not the flashy imagery overload that Speed Racer was, but it was no less of an action car movie than SR.

And it looked like it was a lot of fun for the actors.

I loved death race. Im 7years old. I like to watch real violent movies. It doesn't affect us kids like some people say. My parents don't mind me watching it. They trust me. They have too, I broke their legs with a baseball bat today and tied them up after I played Grand Theft Auto again. Its cool how violence makes me feel good and I like to hurt cats too after I watch videos. But I can tell u it doesnt' really affect me.. I liked your review of death race. Thanks for saying its cool. All my friends will watch it too now. After we kill some more innocent things.

3 out of 4? There are way too many moments where I just thought ... get to the race! and then during the races, you can't tell who anyone else and the camera is simply shaking, "acting" like there is action. And to top it off, we don't even see the ending of a race. They should have gone over-the-top goofy, but they tried to play it serious.
