Has Robin been banished to ensure Batman's manliness?

There is truly only one worry for me...I hope, in the next Batman movie, that they don't include Robin. I think he is a waste of time. Robin could have been a very interesting character if they didn't make him act so stupid in the old Batman episodes, but now, Robin is viewed as a gay idiot. It does make me sad that the sidekick has been reduced to teasing and such, but, to be honest, Batman should definetly go it alone, to save his image. He's too cool for a tightwearing teenager to follow.

The real story with that is very sad. Batman has always been jealous of the other super friends because he doesn't have any super powers. But I love him just the same, and I hang out with the super friends because they're INTO tights. And Batman likes tight-wearing teenagers, but not too many teens are into wearing tights. But I kinda like them. They make me feel sexy.

Dolce and Gaybanana can help. They can update the tights by saggin' them to show batcrack and happy trails; and check out the bat-tats and sleeveless bat-hoodies bringing up the top end ;P

I am not banished. I am still around and still wearing my shiny rubber Robin outfit, along with thigh high pvc stiletto heeled Robin boots. All I need now is a "Robin Girl"!!!!!!Robin-the Latex Wonder

I totally agree! I too would not like to see the return of Robin. I always thought that he was lame. I was a Batman fan way back when and watched the old 60's series (something I don't often admit to).

Is The Batman gay? I never thought so or even really gave it much thought, but who cares? Does he kick a$$ and take names? Yes! So what difference does it make if he's gay?

The latest Batman movies have been so good and so well produced, I think it would be a disaster to introduce the Robin character.
