First of all, I have children and several family friends in this play. We attended the Fridat show and it was great! The sad part of this experience has been watching these sweet little girls being yelled at and publically humiliated during rehearsals as well as back stage, by the plays director and Mummers and Minstrels owner, Kathy Meade. Theatre is a wonderful experience but please do not subject your children to the abuse this lady freely and indiscriminately spews. I have never seen an adult belittle and even make fun of children the way Kathy Meade does. I am certain the only reason she has this job is because she owns the company. Sad but true....

You are misinformed about somethings and right about others. Yes, Kathy is verbally abusive but she is not the owner of Mummers nor is she on the Board of Directors. Mummers is a non profit that is run by a Board. Kathy was hired to direct the show.
