I saw Bruno this morning and my immediate reaction was that Borat was better. This might be unfair since after Borat I now knew what to expect. The ludicrous character of Bruno was a foil to show how ridiculous some of the hetero community seem when confronted by an outrageous and out gay character. That two men kissing would arouse such anger and hatred is both crazy and ironic. This movie is more about mainstream culture's lack of acceptance of homosexuality as a fact of life.
