How do you know? I mean he is a great actor but can he pull off the biggest villain in the Batman universe? Only the release of the movie will tell us for sure! |

if you have seen the trailor Ledger is the better joker, he seems more crzy and phsycotic, Nicholson did a good job being crzy in other movies but kind of slacked in the 1989 film of batman.

i just came from the mid nite showing of THE DARK KNIGHT. it is awesome and i would have to say i think Ledger is a better joker hands down

After seeing the movie, im shocked that im saying that Ledger is the better joker.

Hands down Ledger's joker is better! His character has more depth and is more psychotic than Nicholson could ever dream of.

well jack nicholson did a good job but was more funny then crazy and insane. I overall think ledger is better because he makes the joker a real crazy villian

I kind of hate to say it, but ledger nailed it, Nicholson was more animated and humorous, but ledger's version seems way more realistic and believable.

Saw The Dark Night two nights three nights and and I'm watching the first batman right now as I'm typing this. I think it was ridiculous to think Jack was the better Joker before I saw The Dark Night, but after seeing it I think you are a fool if you think Jack is the better Joker.
No one can express the paranoid delusional character of The Joker like Heath did and no one ever will again. |

Just watched it and the truth is Nicholson is the better Joker. Let's not forget The Joker's character is menat to be funny and animated just like he was in the comic book. I don't think Ledger could've played a true and convincing joker but he played an amazing physcotic/twisted one. He nailed it.He made my skin crawl. I think he should get an Oscar,not for playing the (true)Joker but for his outstanding interpretation of the Joker.
