You suck. First of all, you know nothing of Japanese culture and religion. You're not Japanese, so maybe that's why the crossover of humor and drama is too overbearing for you. Both Waltz with Bashir, Entre les Murs and Okuribito are all equally great works. There are all very different, so it is not fair to say Okuribito is inferior out of the bunch. The film is great alone and doesn't need an academy award to prove it. Japanese Cinema is still going strong, France got lucky this year and we hope to see more Israeli films.
