I purchased a retro 50cc from allnewsports several months ago. The paperwork was a little tardy but it arrived a couple days before the scooter. The scooter got lost on a terminal dock in Chicago, and took 3-4 weeks to be delivered to me, but this was the fault of the shipper, not allnewsports. I contacted allnewsports tech support three times about problems with the scooter and each time was satisfied with their help. I was more satisfied with allnewsports support than I was with the scooter. I quess it all depends on who you contact and how much they want to do their job well.

I can't prove it but it is likely that all the Roketa stuff from Wichita comes from one company, using several names. The parent company seems to be the WIN WIN Corp. Go search the RIPOFF REPORT.
The stuff may not even all be Roketa, just stealing their numbers.

If that is true, ANS is valsifying a lot of documents. ANS would also be violating Interstate Commerce laws. Plus probably some I haven't thought of. I can't believe they could do this and get away with it for so long. Doesn't compute. I can state matter of factly that my retro Roketa, the retro Motofino, and the Schwinn Graduate 150 are identical triplets. There are some differences in the design of the muffler, belt cover, and gear box, but that is about it. Makes one think all three are made by the same parent Company.

No, Robert, if you have a real Motofino and not some grey market fake, it was made by Wangye. How about you give us the prefix of your VIN?
I have a real Motofino retro, and I have seen scooters that look damn near exactly identical, but, so far, I haven't seen any of them running good as new, as long as mine has. I keep on trying to play nice, Robert, I invited you to sign on to the Motofino forum, but you just don't seem to want to put your money where your mouth is!
Shout out your VIN, Robert, I am beginning to suspect that you've never seen a real Motofino, and my patience is just about used up!

OK, you have my curiosity up. Here is the info you requested.
Motofino 150cc MFQT2 VN: LLFWKT
As far as joining the Motofino website, I will when I am sure the starter problem is fixed. And that is a decision I will have to make.

I checked the VIN prefix, LLF isn't a Motofino, you got a gray market copy. You need to have a serious talk with your dealer, and your state department of motor vehicles.

Mr. retroretread. I followed your advice and just came back from my dealer. He showed me his State License, he showed me his Charter from Motofino, both stating he is an authorized Motofino dealer, he also showed me his records which were impeccable. I then talked directly to a marketing rep at Motofino. I was assured that my scooter is a "real" Motofino and the VIN was valid. So all that I accomplished by following your advice was to piss off my dealer who will probably screw me royaly the next time I take it in for repairs. So Mr. retroretread, I have a suggestion, verify and confirm your information before you post it in an open forum. You do not know as much as you think you do, and frankly I think you are full of SHIT!. You'd better hope I don't come to the motofino website, because quess what the is first thing I am going to post. How is your patience wearing now?

Robert, I suspect that the VIN prefix you posted was in error, anyone can make a mistake and we all do.
Fact is, bad starters are not a Motofino standard.
They have a very good track record.

Robert, I am still waiting to welcome you to the Motofino forum, and help you solve your problems!
I may not know as much as I think I do, but, my motorscooter is starting, and running, just fine!
I will keep on checking new applications for membership on my forum, numerous times each day, Robert! Where are you, Robert, what is your problem?
What you really should do is go looking for help for your personal problem, and stop running around dumping on Motofino.
I will continue to check membership applications several times daily, Robert, where the Hell are you?

I recently bought a Tank Touring 150 DE from Allnewsports.com and really love it. Since I live here in California, they sent me a TANK that is CARB approved instead of the Roketa Bali. I got my scooter 6 days after placing the order and it arrived in good condition. There was a minor scratch in the windshield so I called their parts department and 3 days later a new windshield showed up at my door. I am very pleased with their service and support after the sale. My paperwork did not come with the scooter but it arrived 2 days after the scooter got here. I am happy to say that all is good and I will keep you guys posted. Don't buy from scootersfactory.com I got screwed on a Lance GS-R that they claimed was CARB approved but it wasn't. On top of that it fell apart after two months with only 87 miles on it. The Starter will not engage and the engine is leaking oil and does not have compression to go over 15 mph. I am still disputing this with scootersfactory.com

All of our products are CARB approved and we do have the paper work to support and back that up for every product under LANCE and it is approved with the DMV of california. Please give our customer support a call so we can find out what is/was going on with your account please. Please feel free to contact us with any questions as well.

I received my Roketa M54 from ALLNEWSPORTS.com in Kansas. It came in good condition with one minor scratch. Is it a real Roketa, Yes. It is advertised as a Roadking 250. When getting insurance, I gave my VIN # to the insurance company and it pulled up the correct description. All the paperwork including the really poor English translation says Roketa so I am convinced.
I have made a setup document for this scooter with photos. Is there some way it can be posted for people to download? It is about 1.3MB. I may send it to ALLNEWSPORTS as well.

This is an update to my previous post. Allnewsports.com (in Kansas) has sent my certificate of origin which I used to get my New Mexico title and registration. There was not problem do this. I put 5W30 synthetic oil in it because I would not find 5W40. The scooter has been running fine except that the odometer stopped working when I reset the trip odo while I was moving. I had reset it while stopped without a problem so I suggest that you do it this way. I est. I have about 250 miles on it now. I will have to replace the speedo panel to fix the odo problem. Other than that the Roketa M54 250cc has been great. I would recommend them as a dealer. Make sure to send them you VIN# when you receive the scooter just in case the warehouse doesn't. This will get you the cert. faster.

Do you still ride this scoot, the road king 250cc? And are the specs correct? Can it hold 400 + lbs as a carrying capacity? Does it need constant work? I got a moto bravo Lieke 150cc from El Sol Trading in CA, after they sent me a MILANO,(NOT CARB approved; they got fined $1500.00 from the CARB for selling it to me,too). Anyways, the Lieke is a piece of junk. It has had to be tuned twice in 1500 miles. It is a gutless wonder at 150cc, won't go up hills. The mirror just fell off the bike at 15mph the first week I had it. I had to rig it myself. El Sol never sent the part they said they would. No owners manual. I take it to Stockers here for tunes, where they work on anything, thank God for them. The Lieke is not what I ordered but what I got stuck with. This Lieke was traded for the Milano after 6 months of dealing with El Sol Trading. AND they still have not sent my tags! Unreal! Probably have to report them to the DMV now so they can fine them, too!

Those of you who've bought a Chinese scooter, I would greatly appreciated it if you could take a couple minutes to fill out the questions on my survey. I'm hoping to start a factual knowledge base that will weed out some of the 'opinion' stuff and allow new scooter buyers to make a good decision--to choose the dealer and scooter that works best to fit their needs. The link for the surveys is

I don't come to the forum often so I will answer some questions if I can.

Regarding the Roketa M54 scooter (called Roadking 250 at Allnewsports), I have only one problem and that is the Odometer stopped functioning when I reset it while moving. It stripped a worm gear. Reseting while still worked ok. I sent the panel to Allnewsports for warranty replacement and have waited 8 weeks without receiving it. I don't know if the problem is the company or the importer.
I think the Roketa M54 250cc is made fairly well. I only hve about 400 to 500 miles on it and now waiting for spring and the speedo/tach cluster. It goes about 75mph and I weigh 160 lbs. I have ridden with two people but only did 45mph because of the speed limit not the scooter. It is supposed to be 22HP and I have driven up steep road inclines at 55mph.
I received my paperwork about 3 weeks after the scooter and was told their shipping department did not record the VIN. Once I sent them the VIN the paperwork arrived in a few days and I registered it ok. I had to get a motorcycle endorsement on my license for NM. A Honda would have cost 2 to 3 times as much so I think this Roketa is a good deal. Repairs might not be done by local shops and that could be a problem. I am not happy with the warranty replacement as it is taking too long but I like the scooter.

I got a Roketa Bali 250cc scooter is Feb. and have been very pleased so far. I have about 800 miles on it and it runs great. I had it up to 75 mph on a slight up hill incline and 80 mph on a down hill slope. Rode 60 miles one way without stopping and it done it with no problems. The engine never came close to over heating. I am glad I bought it, because the scooter gets great gas milage. With gas prices on the rise to $4 per gallon and talk of it going to $7 per gallon over the next 2 years, well I will be the smart one on the road. And the are fun to just ride. But I ride on 55 mph highways mainly. It is nice to know the scooter can do 75 if need a boost of power to avoid an accident but I love riding 55 mph and remembering safety always comes first. On scootdawg website is a catagory of what scooter do what. 50cc is for in town only, 150cc are for in town and 50 mph roads, and the 250cc is for 55 mph highways( not interstates). I traveled 60 miles on 55 mph highways and my scooter is running perfect. I was scared after reading websites on the Bali 250 because people made it sound like they had been taken. Chinese scooters need maintenance often but will perform great if well taken care of.
