2008 Peace Sports 50cc Scooter turns over but won't start

I have a peace scooter 2009, it has spark but won't start.

I have a 2008 peace sports scooter, I just recently put a bigbore kit in it, but I recently put the old engine back in due to financial problems which I didnt have enough money for a performance muffler, the problem is I have spark, but my cdi isnt working. Its a brand new performance racing cdi with a green light near the wires on the box itself. I looked @ some information on the c.d.i, its ac fired and so I check the connection its the same as the scooter's connection. Scooters are like women, cant seem to keep the satisfied!!! Any ideas?

I presume you don't have the old stock CDI? It is possible the wire colors match but that does not always mean they are the same connection. Much like wiring a trailer harness to a truck. You have to make sure you get the instructions for your make. I don't know the difference between a regular CDI and a racing CDI, unless is the RPM restriction. If it is higher voltage/spark, then that may be the reason it is not working? Sorry I could't be more help

i have a 2009 peace sport scooter 50cc and it keeps snaping the cvt belt it has had two new ones put on it but it keeps breaking. any ideas why???

got a 2009 peace sports moped somthing is rattling in the side caseing on the left side sound like motor

or maybe a crankshaft bearing

take breather off the back of the carb squirta shot of gas in there with throttle wide open u have a fuel problem

then try to start it

i cant get no spark i put a new plug wire and a cdi how do you check the magneto on 50cc gas scooter

I have the same problem with mine. same year as well. Its to the point where it rarly starts up after messing withit for about 15 mins and it dies after afew seconds and after starting it and riding it over and over for about a good 30 mins it will finally reach 25 mph but it only stays at this speed for a short time and if i leave it sitting there for about 30 mins i have to start all over again.:(

Hey i have a issue with my 2009 peace sport 50cc it ran fine and then today it cut off on me on the road... itll turn over with electric start BUT.. wont turn on.. i also smell gas.. i think its something with the fuel delivery.. no leaks or anything... any ideas?? Any info would be very helpful, PLEASE HELPPP!!!

If you smell gas, you could have a leak or the carb could be flooding. Check the air filter to see if it has a gas odor.

Two weeks ago bought a TPGS-805 scooter for my son. It ran great, started no problem but now it won't start!!! At times it will start but then at times it won't. Today it started no problem then it won't restart. Now all I here is the electric starter, it won't even turn over now. I need HELP!! PLEASE!!!

Use the kickstarter. Remember that the ignition must be on and the proper brake handle engaged even when kick starting. If it starts with the kick starter and you have no further problems, then I would look #1 at the battery, fuse, or battery connections. You didn't say whether it was a new scooter or used, but even if new, Chinese batteries are junk just like their scooters.

i have a 2010 peace sport 50cc b09. it used to run awesome! somehow it started giving me problems. it would start and turn tight off. sometimes it would run bt wouldnt pass 30mph and them slow down all the way till it stopped and it would turn off. i have changed the carb i burned the starter so i had to get a new one also. i changed the petcock and cleaned out the fuel lines. i also changed the spark plug and now its actually staying on when i hold the throttle all the way. iam waiting on the coil for the spark plug and the cdi box to come in through ythe mail i pray to god that this works im about to give up on it!!! i have a question though....what does the stator do? not the starter but the stator...and for whoever needs parts for chinese scooters check out ebay!!!!! i got a brand new starter for $20 a carb for $30 and the coil and cdi box for $20. some offer faster shipping than others. please any suggestions and answers or comments will be very well appreciated!!!

The stator powers most of the electrical components on a bike, such as headlights, tail lights, etc. Pretty much everything electrical except for the starter, which is powered by the battery. It is a coil which creates a magnetic field which allows a DC motor to run.

i have a 09 50cc peace sports scooter and the lights and speedometer dont work or the gas gauge i looked at all wirein. what else can i do to get them workin?

Check for a blown fuse.
