Is it being sold by a private party or a dealer? Ask questions, what repairs have been made to it, etc. Take it for a ride. 3000 miles is not a lot on a scooter. Mine has 3000+ and I have only had it 2 yrs. Most things go wrong with a scooter during the first 300-800 miles. For $500 seems like a good deal. But again, ask questions, test ride it. Of course you know it requires a motorcycle endorsement if it is a 150cc.

I have a Roketa fiji 150, ran okay until today when it stalled at the stoplight. Started it back up only with the throttle open some. Won't idle but runs strong as long as I have the throttle open. Friend of a friend mech says it's probably the low jet on the carb is clogged. Got any other suggestions before I tear this apart?

The Roketa I had, there was only one fuse and it was in the battery compartment tied into the anode (+) wire. If it is just your turn signals, you have a bad switch or a loose or broken wire. If it was a fuse you wouldn't have any lights at all.

Very simple, if you don't have an operators manual. You add a few ounces and check the dipstick, then you add some more, and check the dipstick, do this until the dipstick registers full. If you want to know how much you added, use a measuring cup and write down how many ounces you put in. Then you won't have to ask us the next time you change oil. Most scooters take somewhere around a quart. My scooter takes 26 ounces (0.8 quart).
