right now there are about 10 of that type here in town and the only comments are that the stock battery is junk and the gas mileage is closer to 85 MPG not the 100 advertised. Hard to start once it warms up but has plenty of power. Some come in with loose bolts but nothing major. Replace the spark plug and battery with good ones and fill it up and go. Oh and if you paid over 1000 you got robbed. Dealer cost is 400 without shipping. Bang for the buck I'd give it a 9 out of 10. BTW I work for a dealer and have a blue one with over 200 miles on it. Personally it's the smartest vehicle choice I've made in years.

i bought a used nst (2006) for 300.00. it is not too bad. the biggest downfall i have found is finding parts for it. by this i mean a speedometer cable. other than that, i ride mine 36 miles to work one way every day. if anyone happens to know how to get parts for it, e-mail is dragon_master_46563@yahoo.com.

Tray a local lawmower shop, most of the mechanics there can do things to scooters. If not then try a web page like http://www.scooterdemand.com/index.asp... and request the parts you need.

We got a 150 Cc touring model on ebay through a dealer called Xtreme, inc. Utah and CA. Ebay ID is awesomebuyatv.
Dealer is HORRIBLE. paperwork was not sent in timely manner, NY state would not accept it, took a month to resolve. Poor communication, bad attidude, slow, etc. Even charged my card twice by mistake, had to resolve that, too. Scooter, few issues, had a leaky front brake disc. NST sent me a new one. Scooter runs nicely, looks good. Plastic parts are weak and kind of cheap. We got a good price, had it shipped. Don't buy online if you don't know how to put things together and deal with mechanical stuff. People at NST were nice. just be careful what dealer you buy from. |

I purchased a NST 90cc atv. I need to locate the NST manufacture or web site. Were can I get service manual for it.

You might try NST Motor at http://www.nstmotor.com/ Don't know about your machine, but they have NST's. Might be worth a call if you can't find it there. I have 2 NST scooters and they have a parts manual listed online for my bikes. I bet they can get you some info. |

Just got my Bali 150cc. No scratchs, dents or missing parts. Had to put on trunk, mirrors and foot pads. Everything works even the radio.
Hard to get started but runs good. With all the horror stories I must have an exceptional bike.Scooterdemand has been great. Waiting for the paperwork. |

Was wondering? What the speed of 50 cc NST is? How is the peformance up hill? slow fast somwhat inbetween? How many volts is the battery? What is the biggest downer of the NST 50cc ?? Anybody experienced lots of problems after a while, having to take it to the shop to get worked on???if so what were the main issues??????????
|
|
|
Judged: 1 1 Most Chinese scooters use 75W-90 Syn gear oil, but it is GL-5. My Roketa 50cc used it. Walmart has it. I have no idea where you are going to find GL-3. GL-3 & GL-4 have been replaced by GL-5 by most Scooter and Motorcycle Mfgrs. Try running a google and see if someone on line sells it. |

Hello all, just was wondering if anyone has a nst 50cc what is the performance like is it worth of a buy? of course your not buying a vespa but do's it get you around without sending back to the company talking to all the reps, and trying to figure out the problem or having to take it to the shop 2 days later after having it to spend spend??? But for the price not bad but do's it do the trick??? what is the top speed?
thanx, |
