Are Lance Scooters Overpriced Chinese Junk ?

Been noticing some major issues with the Lance line of scooters. Local shop was selling these, went to go back to possibly purchase and he discontinued the line due to sticking throttles, overheating problems, engines seizing and no support form Lance. Seems like they are overpriced for what you get and no warranty support from Lance.

Our neighbor bought one at a window tinting shop. That was just the first bad idea. The scooter quit running with 37 miles on it. It went back to the window tinters. Second bad idea. They couldn't fix it. But they did blame the manufacturer for sending so many unreliable scooters. And now, the Lance sits. It's pretty much dead. And the window tinter has three more that they can't even get running out of the boxes. Horrible.

Maybe the window tinting business isn't the best place to buy a vehicle that will take you up to speeds of 55mph?

I own a TNG Baja and 1st of all I had to wait 3 months for a muffler replacment after just 2 months of driving it and now there is a louad noise coming from the engine has any one else had any problems like this with their TNG;s I love it it fun but hell I want it to run like they promised

ya buying a scooter from a window tinting place is the worst place to buy it from.. as for the problem its having, have ur neighbor check on the lance site for the closest dealer and have them take it there to work on it..

what do you expect from a nation that puts lead paint in toys, has high levels of chemicals in baby formula, and who's "people" spit in public and appear to be fixated with picking thier noses in public. THEY ARE DUMB.that's why they have so many car accidents |

Nice advice. There's a problem though. Lance isn't concerned about the qualifications of their authorized dealers. There's a dealer about 60 miles from me. They don't even have a mechanic. They farm out their mechanical work to a lawnmower repair shop across the street. Not that it matters. Lance doesn't honor their warranty anyway. They don't answer emails, they won't take a telephone call. Once they have your money, you're on your own. So are the dealers. So are they a piece of overpriced junk? You bet! Junk is junk. At any price. Buyer beware. Run to the nearest Honda dealer, or any dealer other than Lance. |
