Eric, if you ever see this post, can you please email me the instructions on how to change the gear oil?(channelv@juno.com), thanks much!!

Also, I'd like us to keep this Moskito thread alive as I'm a big fan. Some info about my scooter:

I have a 2000 MZ Moskito (Regular model), 49cc 2 stroke. I've basically taken the entire thing apart and put it back together myself to restore/clean it. Thus if you need any help, please don't hesitate to ask!

I have 10,000km (about 6,400 miles) on it so far. A few mods including performance exhaust, cone air filter, adding an inline fuel filter (much better than the stock petcock type filter). I've increased top speed approx 5 mph with these mods (up to about 45mph top speed).

I would e-mail him at the email address he left. That sounds like a super deal to me, if they're all complete as he said, I bet you could get them all running without too much work!

I have a 2000 or 2001 Mosquito MZ, yellow. It saw limited duty 3-4 months per year at the local horse show.I've lost the key and can't access the various compartments. I can not see a serial no. on the exterioir. I have not run it for two years and cannot start it. It has a seat with a torn cushion and is missing a front reflector. Otherwise it may be good for parts. Anyone interested in buying it as is where is please reply.

2002 49cc Moskito ---- Still awaiting someone to email me or advise as to how to reassemble front brake pads. I can't get new ones in. Detailed brake page from a Service Manual would be nice.

Someone commented on needing a battery, get measurements for your current one and then check on google, then check ebay. They are fairly cheap, I want to say 20-30 dollars US.

Also about the front brake rotor, best way to get parts for this is to check ebay. Most CPI and 49cc 2 stroke parts are universal with this model, so just try and go by the picture/decription to make sure you're getting a part that fits and works

On the previous comment I stated there were 4 wires on the stater. That is incorrect there are 6 wires. Still need help. Thanks. Perry perrytennell@yahoo.com
