Why didn't they tell me they were looking for an amateur? I would have taken the job:-) This guy looks like a used car salesman and got fired from his managerial job mid-season. At least Eric made it to the end. One more reason why I think Shapiro and the Dolan's should open a pizza joint or something like that. They sure don't know how to own and run a baseball franchise. Sorry Cleveland fans we get it in the neck again.

Why would you go with someone that has not proven that he can coach a team to at least a winning record? Bad, bad, choice!

I hope he will do better then Wedge, maybe he can get the team to bunt once in a while to move a runner over, and maybe a sucide squeze to score a run, he will need a lot of help,Mr Acta, keep your players where they natually play their best, don't take a second basemen and place him in the outfield PLEASE. and don't place Travis Hafner at DH, get someone who can hit the ball.

Here we go again, but at least this time we are hiring a proven major league manager; proven to lead a team to the worst record in baseball multiple years.

GO INDIANS AND TAKE THE BROWNS WITH YOU.::sigh::

Why does Cleveland always find people with losing records to manage our teams? I wouldn't hire someone unless they could demonstrate at least a two-to-one winning record lifetime.

Here we go again. The Indians management looks like they went with the Manager that would take the least amount of money instead of spending a bit more and hiring a manager with a proven history of winning. I am now through supporting the Indians and will focus on a team that is committed to winning like the YANKEES.

Lose a loser, Hire a loser??? This is typical of an organization that has no idea how to go about builing a first class baseball team. For 40 years we watched pathetic baseball with an occasional good team, but never good enough. Now, after the Mike Hargrove years, we're right back in the same drought. This is a sad day in Cleveland...AGAIN with no end in sight!!! This is similar to the Manginit fiasco.
Thank you Cavaliers for at least trying to bring a winner to town!

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Virgo

This is not a day for sitting still if you can possibly avoid it because it will be a fast track to bad temper and sharp-tongued outbursts. Have plenty of short breaks, go for lots of walks or work up a sweat in the gym in your lunch-hour. If you're driving, keep an eye on the speedometer because it will be very tempting to go too fast and you'll be furious if you're caught.
