Police: Teen Dead After Fight At Giants Game

i hate that once again someone young has died, but at least for a change it wasn't with a gun. And it could possibly been accidently since his major injury probably was acquired when he hit the pavement. I am so sorry for the ignorance of people who continue to take a life whether accidental or not. Dear Giraudo you have my sincere heartfelt condolences.

Condolences to the family. The other 18 year olds life is pretty much over. A murder charge, he probably won't do too much jail time, but what he did will be with him for the rest of his life. He killed another person, for what? To show how tough he was, or because of a stupid remark. Was it worth it to take someone's life. You've ruined 2 family's lives that includes yours. Stupid,stupid,stupid.

That's why you don't fight people! I'm sure whatever was says wasn't worth anyone dying for. Young men need to learn to let things go.

I was at that game and had taken Cal Train. We left the game in the 8th inning and went to Cal Train to "beat the rush". I could not believe that Cal Train would not allow anyone to board the trains until 20 minutes after the completion of the ball game. We arrived around 9:50pm and did not board until 10:45pm. There were more than 10 trains waiting at the station and the crowd, mostly teenagers, were very rowdy. They were cutting in line, drinking, smoking both cigaretts and marijuana and obnoxious. When I said something to one of the teenagers a group of them tried to intimidate me as if they were going to try and fight me. I was trying to be "green" by taking the train to the game, but I highly doubt I will ever go to another game based on the past few experiences. If you drive you have crazy people cutting you off and if you take the train you risk assault. I would much rather watch the game on TV so I don't have to put up with the idiots that attend the game.

I do not believe Taylor Buckley should be charged with murder. Was his intent to murder Anthony Giraudo? It was a fight, now he should be charged with manslaughter, he did kill someone. But they have to figure out what the intent was and if it was premeditated.

This will not be a murder trial. Just like the Berkeley case. Unless Buckley is Black.

Buckley is a nice guy i know that he didn't mean to kill anthony i don't know what happened but buckley is a nice kid

i have known Taylor for a couple of years now, and he is one of the nicest people i have met. although when alcohol is mixed in the bunch things change. i do agree tho that he should face jail time. but there is still no exact answer to how the fight started. taylor had no intentions of killing anthony. who would think one punch would lead to that? no one.

Drinking is getting out of control by minors heading to and at these games - not sure if it was a contributing factor....lots of facts unknown.

I'm a friend of Buckley's too, and I have known him for 4 years. He is a good kid, but hes gotta control his behavior. Buckley, hang in there man.

i actually new the victim and we have a memorial to him at school. Everyone came in crying this morning after hearing the news... I think the killer should be put to jail immeadeatly...

ive known taylor buckley since 5th grade a good friend and a great family. One punch was not intended to kill someone and the fight started because anthony came up to him saying he was gonna beat all 3 of his friends asss.

Taylor is a really nice person... it's sad... to see that he'd do this... it shouldn't be first degree murder it's not like he planned to kill Anthony... i agree with it being manslaughter.

u should shut it!(yes, what Taylor did was absolutely stupid and it's terrible... and god i feel sorry for both families) but, think about it... how do you know that a punch would kill a person? i mean unless he was thinking oh yeah if i punch in the temples... there's a good chance of this guy dying... who knows... but, honestly knowing him... he probably didn't think it would... i don't know. this is just horrifying and shocking.=/

i completely agree. i think who ever was there and saw it all happen regardless whose side they were on needs to tell the truth, so that buckley doesn't fucked over, for something he didn't mean to do.
