One thing the baseball players can do is set a better example of how to settle your differences during a game. Getting into fights and brawls during the game sends the wrong message to the fans and the young people who look up to them.

I hope that punch was worth 5 years of jail.
I hope he gets raped at least once a week.

Fights shouldn't occur AT ALL. It's a tragic end to something that shouldn't have even started. Don't try to justify somebody fighting. Too much testosterone, too much alcohol, maybe. My condolences to the family.

I just hope the dead guy was the one who initiated the fight. Chances are that he didn't start it which makes this extremely sad.

How do you know that? How can you be sure of that person's intent? Also, why would anyone go to a Giants game? That in itself can be fatal if you pay attention to the score!

I got knocked down repeatedly by my own daughter. She hated high school and would come home so angry she just wanted to punch somebody. I'm pretty quiet so I was a great target. Knocked me flat on my tile floor many times. I guess I have a hard head. Please don't make judgements about the victim, folks. He is dead, you don't know the first thing about the incident. He's dead and for sure he didn't deserve it over some little fuss.

i was there and it was an accident i am friends with this kid who is now in jail and anthony who passed away and i know it was wrong but they were both very drunk. there were 2 cops who were like 30 ft away and didnt do anything untill 2 minutes later. the news likes to spread the wrong info of what happened. Whats sad is that the kids who is in jails little brother who is 14 is being threatened by 18 year old kids that they are going to beat his ass. i guess no one has learned a lesson about this

It is my feeling that the park needs to set STRONG rules in regards to serving someone more alcohol when they have already had too much to drink already. This puts both of them in a place where nothing but hurt and sadness will follow. The park and security needs to be tightened. In school there is a no tolerence rule. It seems that the same needs to happen at these games. If there were officers near by, action should of been taken. It takes but seconds for one person to make the wrong decision. Where both families loose out! My heart goes out to the family. Yet another senseless death, that could of been avoided. We need to all stick together and protect each other.

I agree. It could be as simple as stamping their hand for each beer. That way, they'd know if anyone was over the allowed limit immediately. I guess those $9 beers are worth more than a life, in their opinion. They need to get a conscience.

i agree, what is sickness about this is that other kids from wood side are threating his little brother. did we not just experience a death from a fight? why would you do that? 1) he had nothing to do with it 2) grow up

I agree with "friend" To the kids from Woodside and anywhere in Redwood City...please leave Taylor's little brother alone...he did nothing...wasn't even there!!! Please stop this madness, learn something from this situation and stop fighting one another! Grow up to be good men...ones that your parents and future children will be proud of. We are all somehow connected. I know both Anthony and Taylor and it's so tragic for everyone involved.
