Giants pitch-slap Phillies on the field and show them class in the stands too

Full story: Marin Independent Journal

Even before the game started, Michael Allen's face was red. This had nothing to do with the 3-0 thrashing his Philadelphia Phillies were about to receive from the Giants -- or even with the Schmidt beer that often flows like mother's milk in Phillies fans.

Yes, that was the intent of the 'pitch-slap' play on words...along with 'Schmidt-faced'.

Giants need to put these guys away tonight!!

It was well written. I thought it was Gary Klien writing it. Gary'll do that, throw in some sh it that you don't expect in a news story. Sometimes it works, and you say do yourself "damn, this guy is a pretty good writer". Other times, he comes out looking looking more or less foolish. He's my hero...

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Aquarius

There simply aren't enough hours in the day today for you to do everything that's on your list, so concentrate on the priorities. Don't feel guilty about what's been left out and start to worry about it. This isn't an easy day because you're feeling pressured and anxious, so don't expect too much from yourself. There's less energy than usual, which doesn't help.
