A man attending a Texas Rangers game with his young son died after falling out of the stands and about 20 feet to the ground while trying to catch a baseball tossed his way last night, the Rangers and Arlington fire officials said.

Sad story. Feel terrible for the man's son.
That's probably the end of tossing final out balls into the stands in MLB.

I just saw this on the news...how sad, and his son watched the entire thing happen...this is just VERY sad...

When i saw the replay of it .He had flip flops on you never wear flip flops where there is danger of slipping,and/or ramming your foot.Com e on a little common sense goes a long way.Sorry for the guys death.Flip flops have no traction.

Agree with your sentiment.
I didn't see the tragic incident and I don't want to.

And you may be right about the toss into the stands.
Though I hope not.
