That's "Baseball" Life ...
When The Phillies fell flat on their face ...
They didn't get back up!
Instead, they just fell apart.
Oh Well ... My condolenses to their fans.
Of which, I am not one.

If I was told in 1979, "before you die the Phillies will win a world series." I would have been happy. Well they have 2! Time to prune some dead wood and reload while we still have something to work with. Time for Rollins, Victorino and Palanco to move on. Maybe even Doc. Gavis can fit in for Rollins and we can fill some holesthrough free agency. Lets look forward and move on. Remember after the 80 series, it took 3 more years to get back. and then it was all over. 2012 is over and time to make some moves.

Go Phillies 2014!! It's sad to see the Phillies doing so badly., I know people have to be traded. If Charlie Manuel would do a better job than we'd still have Victorino, Blanton and Pence. You can't blame this all on injuries. Even last year, Charlie made bad decisions or in many cases made No decision. I think this might be Charlie's last year.

Please wait...
Charlie needs to break his habits and place Jimmy in a lower batting order spot. The good thing is that younger prospects and a few older players that were stuck in AAA for years are getting a chance to show what they have; and not for just one game. Run them all through and see who should stay for 2013
