Walt Jocketty needs to get off his hands and infuse the roster with some youth. There is no valid reason not to give Zack Cozart a shot at the SS job. Edgar Renteria is not going to suddenly start playing like his former self.

I attended the Reds game Sunday. Even when they were ahead 7-2, you never got the feeling that they were in control. And sure enough, Leake walks two batters that later score, and Masset gives up a run, and suddenly it's anyones game. And the Reds had plenty of chances to blow the game open, and didn't get it done. I fear that if changes aren't made, this season will continue down the same path. What those changes need to be, I haven't a clue. That is for the manager to decide.

Question. It has been a long time since I watched baseball. In fact, the last time was watching the big red machine with Pete Rose, Joe Morgan, Johnny Bench, etc.

The question is, I saw the Yankees play against the Mets, and I think I saw a couple of weeks ago the Reds play the Tigers. Since when does the National league play the American league in season? Am I losing my mind? Did I miss something?
