Oh I disagree Soxgirl. You clearly don't know your baseball. The yankees have sweept the rays, athletics and twins. For one, the rays have spanked the red sox this year(at least in Tampa bay). The athletics swept the red sox the last time they faced each other, the twins have also defeated the red sox 3 out 4 in their first series against each other. Together they combine a record of 13-13 against the red sox... seems to me the red sox don't find it too easy to beat those teams as you claim. Yankees are 17-8 against those teams and have not been swept by any of those teams like the red sox have(red sox have been swept 3 times by those teams this year alone). I guess they aren't too easy to beat afterall since your red sox have trouble against them...

Sweeps against Oakland, Minnesota and Tampa... all first and second place teams.

Not proud of my Twins this week, but they recently had their own 10 game winning-streak. It's the nature of the game. See you in October!

So then why do the Sox have such a hard time against the same teams? The teams that you say are "not hard to beat???"
Admit it. You're clueless when it comes to baseball. Maybe you just like to sing "Sweet Caroline? Because all you ever do is resort to personal insults. You are one classless broad.
I second that Goose. Red sox are 13-13 against those three teams combined. If they are so easy to beat well, the red sox will tell soxgirl differently. Soxgirl just can't talk sports without insulting others for no reason...

I like the Twins, too. But they need more superstars in the bullpen.

With a strong bullpen, the Twins got more life in the playoffs.

Baseball - it's all about pitching. Growing up, I never realized that half of a professional baseball team consists of the pitching staff.
