With a big road trip coming up, this will be the closes that the Twins will be to first place. Yes, they are winning, but not playing very well. Chicago is.

It looks as if the Twins are moving into their deciding moment. Either they keep it close with the White Sox or they start to fall behind. This series is more important than some might believe. The Twins need to head into the long road trip with another series victory. No one can blame Nick Blackburn for last night's loss. He has pitched well. More disturbing was Crain's inability to get an out. Breslow, however, looked good. It's time to bring Korecky back from the minors. When can teams expand their rosters? Is it in September? The Twins could use another good right-handed reliever this month.
