You should have traded for"DOC" when you had the chance. And now you gotta face Cliff Lee. You go down 2-0 AND IT'S TOAST FOR LA. Lee is pitching great right now. After you lose to Philly, re sign Manny for 5 years for 150 million guarenteed.

Wonderful sports reporting! It is so good to see that the SFV gossip columnist is now editing and writing the headlines for the DN!! Slowly but surely the DN will give The National Enquirer a good run for its supermarket buck.

Same Torre when he was a Yankee Manager during 2001 - 2007 season when the Yankees got no World Series Championship, even the "Yankees got almost all the star /big time players and top pitchers and support from "The Boss" (the owner).
During that span, Arizona won, Florida won and compare to Yankees their salary were almost half of the Yankees and they were well managed.

Dear Ed,
Nice to see that you managed to change the headline and still left up the comments.

Thanks for the honesty!

Seems like Padilla shut out the phillies for most of the game and the series is tied 1-1 as the DODGERS won today GO Big Blue.

The Dodgers made a bad mistake when they didn't get Cliff Lee. They really needed him. I hope the Dodger organization do the fans and myself a favor and somehow get rid of Manny. Go after Matt Holiday or let Juan Pierre take over. I'm sick of hearing about Manny. He has do NOTHING!
As far as the McCourts they have been a disgrace with their marriage fallout. But if I had to keep one of them for an owner I would take Frank.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Virgo

You're struggling to get everything finished in time today, making you feel fractious and tired. At some point you may have to take a pragmatic decision about which tasks must be completed today and which will have to be postponed until another day. Do your best to keep things in proportion otherwise you'll waste time in trivial details and needless nit-picking.
