Kink of like global warming: sensation and memory let you know its not happening, so too does one know Dusty Baker is not a better manager than Lou Piniella.

I need to remind myself to cancel my WSJ subscription.

Dusty better than Lou? WSJ ned to stick with finance news.

Ozzie should be rated #1 when it comes to having a "dirty" mouth. Ozzie should be gone by June 1st.

LaRussa is over-rated. I like Detriot's manager, and Cleveland's also. Yankees Joe G. is the best young managers in today's game.

Managers from years ago had better knowledge than the ones of today. Sparky, Earl, Chuck, Dick and Billy knew baseball. I did not include that Italian blow heart from L.A. in my list. He had great teams, and could not go anywhere with them. Too busy with his slimfast diets.

When a study puts Dusty Baker near the top of any list for managerial competence, I know that the study is flawed, skewed, biased or an attempt to be controversial in order to get coverage.

Hey, Mr. Baseball, should we take your opinion into account seeing you don't know who Detroit manager is despite the fact he will be a hall of famer, and he managed the team that you live closest to to it's first World Series title? Jimmy Leyland. And when talking about Tommy Lasorda, you mention "he had great teams, and could not go anywhere with them". Who does that sound like? Oh yea, Lou Pinella with the Mariners.
