Why don't the Cubs just embark on a long losing streak and put themselves out of our misery?

On a serious note, I can finally admit the Brewers are going nowhere. But seriously what is up with the Cubs?...Dempster breaks his toe?...Ramirez comes back & you lose 2 out of 3 to Atlanta [who has not up until now won a road series in 2 months]?....St.Louis is the team to beat in this division if they stay healthy..........FACT.

So let me get this straight. The Cubs can't beat the teams with winning records or losing records. What's left? Oh thats right another year without a World Series Championship.

I have had it with them. I am done. I am getting too old for this crap.
And no one seem to care. The players are too busy checking their stats and their bank statements. The manger is too busy letting his mind wander. The GM is too busy trying to explain to the new owner why he gave Soriano an 8 year $136K contract. The fans still line up by the bus-full for the opportunity to get their hearts smashed. I just don't see things ever changing.
Tsk, Tsk, Sunday night you had your orders planned for World Series tickets.

Hey Hardliner, nice game by Konerko last night. The White Sox are a team that may be a player or two away from serious contention. Ozzie said it best....If the White Sox were in the N.L. Central they would win 120 games.
Sorry ano

That's right. They don't deserve your business. If the flubs was a restaurant, and the meals were putrid bad, you wouldn't go there, and you'd spread the word-of-mouth. Wrigley is a crud hole, the team is garbage, there's no soap in the restrooms, and you flubbers go there to suck it all in. Just eat it and stop your whining.

I've said it before but no winning team can have a guy like Theriot at short. Escobar was amazing in these last two games and shows you what range can do for a team

My favorite $12 mil/yr outfielder nails the lid down. Har har har de har flubbers.

Half a season later...destiny realized for the worst 97 win team I ever saw.

Hey MILTON!! Maybe, just maybe, if you hit 300+ from the right side, and less than 200 from the left....maybe you're not a switch-hitter :>O

Precisely. But there is no way to teach this to flubbers, they never learn.

I like the effort and intensity of both Theriot and Fontenot, but they really are just good bench players.
