Buck Showalter has changed the culture in Baltimore and has created the most positive change for the franchise since the Ripken era. AL East title is possible but most likely will the Yankees who win it, however, Al Wildcard is not out of the question. Remember this, the Orioles are still rebuilding and their farm system is becoming productive again as it once was during their glory years from 1960 to 1985. This season is a stepping stone season to their future and the glory years will return soon, and it may be sooner than some may consider. Showalter and Duquette are being compared to Paul Richards, Harry Dalton, Hank Bauer, and Earl Weaver in Birdland these days. There is good talent being molded in the farm system and a new spring training site in Sarasota is now part of the positive changes that are happening. "The Oriole Way" has been restored, their philosophy for success as well as new innovation. The inept years are now in the rear view mirror and new vision is evident. It won't be too long now, they are headed in the right direction.

As a Yankee fan, it is good to see the O's playing competitive baseball again. Makes the AL East a bit more exciting.

There are no more weak teams in the AL East.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Scorpio

It's a frustrating and rather disappointing day because you have to cope with delays and setbacks to your plans. A travel arrangement may have to be postponed or there could be a hitch about something connected with education. You're also feeling subdued and tired, and you're longing to spend some time on your own although this may not be possible. Don't worry, this difficult mood will soon blow over.
