The sooner Pelf is released, the better. He is not going to get any better. Time to cut bait regardless of the value returned. He is going to be dead weight in this rotation, even as the #5 starter.

No Brainer. Cut Pelfrey and his schill agent Boras, he has never performed consistently over an entire season and is not worth a dime.

The Mets need to put together a team and keep it that way. They are using Triple-A ballplayers because the owners got in trouble with their money. All those "superstars" that they hired Martinez,Santana etc. screwed us good and are sitting home colleting N.Y. Met paychecks while not giving the Mets squat. Instead of changing the manager of the club they need to get rid of the owners.

Pelf pitched good in his most recent outing on Thursday Night against Houston so lets NOT get hasty on his departure!!!! While everyone in baseball (especially those rude, crude Stankee fans) have us picked for last place; the Mets do have a pretty damn good starting rotation: 1) R.A. Dickey and his knuckleball. 2) Dillon Gee is definitely an up and comer. 3) Jon Niese provided that he can stay healthy can win 15-17 games and the return of Johan Santana means that the Mets with some timely hitting and GOOD HEALTH might shock the world and contend for one of those 2 wild card spots because the last time I checked Bud Selig is the commish and NOT Vince McMahon.
