Todd isn't a fighter. He is an embarrassment.

He's in it for the publicity.

I've never met a real fighter who struts around talking about himself so much.

Real fighters spend countless hours in the gym sweating, bleeding, and working - often times traveling to the venue with only your corner men, and then coming home right after the fight.

No fanfare. Fighting isn't about fanfare.

Todd spends countless hours trying to get attention.

Todd needed oxygen and a hospital after 3 minutes of fighting with headgear and 20 oz. gloves. He's an embarrassment to all real fighters.

Honestly, you have to give respect to anyone who gets in the ring. Anyone who goes through training, spars and takes the risk deserves that much at least. So CONGRATULATIONS to everyone that fought that night and a big CONGRATULATIONS to Pic for his victory. Funny how none of you commented on that. I think its awesome that a sport like boxing (given in an a very amateur form) is even associated with Pittsfield. Can't you at least be happy about that. You guys should be embarrassed about your lack of compassion and overall morality. Sure your free to have an opinion but think about what you publish before you hit the submit button.

This guy is following his dream of competing in what I would consider a high risk hobby. Whats so wrong about that? He's not trying to become the heavy weight champ of the world. He's humble about himself in relation to the sport and I give him props for following his dream. What dreams have you fulfilled? Working in cubicles and being arm chair experts? At least he's bringing entertainment into western mass. The cards are stacked against Poulton for sure...even more of a reason to high five the guy!

I'm a former resident of the Berkshires, a dedicated boxing fan and not related to any of the fighters or promoters of Friday's Celebrity Bout.

hey peeledgrape,i can tell that youve had a few boxing matches....not. your right about a fighter who trains hard and sacrifices for the dream of becomeing a champion.all fighters should be given respect for getting in the squared circle i agree but aside from the first two fights id have to say that there wasnt any respect given to the sport by the way the rest of the fighters and i use that loosely, presented themselves.todd first off shouldnt have been running around selling tickets to the fight and God knows what else they had him doing. i have been a fighter, trainer and manager in this great sport all my life and had to deal with the promoters trying to get us to do their job everytime we fought on some card .i always refused them because training was the number 1 priority.now even though this was a so called celebrity fight, the guys and even the strippers should of aquitted themselves way better than they did. i have a hard time respecting them for the lack of effort that they put forth. you say its a high risk hobby? well, first off its not a hobby ,making model airplanes is a hobby . secondly if its such a dangerous sport ,which it most certainly is ,act like it and learn the basics and train like you want to win.they looked like anything but....for you to lambast us here for criticizing the lack of respect given to the sport which is really what this is about, maybe you should turn your distain to the real problem which was people traveling all the way there expecting good fights and then getting one good fight which i commend JQ for and then a few "beyond amateur" fights where the fighter is constantly asking if his opponent is ok everytime he throws a supposed jab.what the hell is that? you dont want me in your corner if that is going on cuz il;l get in there and kick his ass myself! i am all about winning celebrity boxing or real championship boxing.its all the same to me mate. peace

He's not folloiwng his dream, he's looking for attention.

He clearly spent more time talking about himself than training.

Fighting isn't about fame, and he was using "fighting" to get attention.

And he wasn't even fighting! Three 1-minute rounds! With 20-oz gloves and oversized head-gear! And he was still getting knocked silly due to over-talking and under-training.

No. He's not a fighter. People see this loser and start to think fighters act this way when, in fact, fighters walk anonymously through crowds - not with a megaphone.
