Article should say, Peralta Packs a Wallop, So Does Shapiros Bullpen. Amazing thing is, the bullpen is the only thing Shapiro has worked on for the last 3 years.

The tribe is in a bad situation with Kobayashi and Dellucci. Both have another year left on their contracts. What do you do with a .220 veteran hitter and a veteran reliever with AA stuff. Whoever recommended Masa to the tribe brass should be let go. Use some of the money with the CC departure and sign a couple of top relievers.
If I were the GM most of the coaching staff would be history. In other words clean house, play the young guys to see what we have, and then make some hard decisions.

The tribe is just fine. Last year showed the bullpen is the most easily correctable part of a team. Not only do the indians have payroll available, they have some young pitchers in the minors who are ready. If they want to DFA a couple of $3 million players, they have the financial wherewithall to do it. Just don't look for big buck free agents!

We get on Wedge from time to time for his managerial mistakes, but you have to feel for the guy. He can only go to battle with the players Shapiro has provided.

Maybe the guys in AAA and AA are hungry enough to overachieve for a while....we just might find a keeper.

How would this lineup look with the following shapeero castoffs; Ryan Ludwick, Jody Gerut, Luke Scott - my guess is a lot better. Did anyone else wonder how we got kobyashi - if a Japanese player is any good doesn't he end up with NY or Boston, or in 1 case Seattle? Oh boy that garko is a player, where are all the garkoians now - the sound I hear is crickets churping.

Unless Raffi Perez can pitch every day, we go NO ONE that can get anybody out in that bullpen. Had the series not been played in a dome, I doubt that the homer that Betancourt gave up Wednesday would have landed yet. And Garko has mailed in it. He should sit all the way thru the Toronto series. I'm sure if Wedge searches really hard, he can find someone else in the dugout to strike out and pop up for a few days.

I've said it here before, and I'm sure I'll say it many times more before this train wreck of a season is over: every time you think this team has hit rock bottom, they manage to sink a little lower.

garko is having a bad season but not husseling is BS. victor needs to be our everyday first basemen when he comes back and shoppach should catch. garko can go back to california and tan himself.

Bad Shapiro decisions are piling-up. Dolan down right cheap. Wedge compiling a record of under-achieving.

They send down Mastny to make room for others! Why not send a message to Betancourt or Mujica and let them go to Buffalo. Wedge benched Garko for not running out a ball, but keeps Mujica, etancourt and Kobayashi on the roster for making the same mistakes over and over! What a joke! At least we'll have Sizemore for 3 more years!

Marte has proven that he can't hit big league pitching. Give Wes Hodges a chance...he dominated AA.

I really like the Santana move. He is a young kid that doesn't have a proven record of mediocrity.
Peralta is finally come into a groove. Run with it. Even with Victor and Hafner healthy, Jonny should be our #4. He seems to thrive there. He has Hafner power and hits to all fields. He would be a definite plus with the return of the boys.
