Q&A: Should the Omaha Royals move to Sarpy County?

Full story: La Vista Sun

Yes. [I think] it would be a good move. Being in a smaller stadium, something they are able to fill up.

No... i think the smaller stadium isn't or shouldn't be a factor... what should matter is how people can get to the stadium and whether people will come to see them if they move

in downtown omaha people could go by bus
in Sarpy county ... may be too expensive to get there with gas prices ... i for one will not go anymore if they move

but I, for one, would buy season tickets in Sarpy County instead of going to one or two games a year in Rosenblatt

I also am in favor of the move. I don't want to pay $6.00 for parking everytime I go to a game. I go to about 20 games a year and would go more if they move to Sarpy County and only a few times a year downtown. The most important thing though is that the team stay in the Omaha are and not move to a new state.

I would love for them to move out west. I would definatly buy season tickets if they did. Me, i don't want to drive downtown and pay more for parking than i did for the ticket. Meca can get whatever team they want down there. The royals would do great out west with all the young families. Nobody wanted to go to rosenblatt, the new stadium in "nodo" isn't gonna help.

I agree with Mark: $6.00 for parking is too much. Also, by moving out west, I think more people will come to games. People from Gretna, Springfield, west Omaha, Papillion, maybe even Lincoln (yeah, it's a stretch).
