<quoted text>I do believe athiests ARE covered by the Constitution. I cannot recall the SCOTUS ruling, but common sense dictates that "freedom of religon" does not mean you have to have one. If a person chooses to be religious or not, that's their choice, and as we've seen on here, there are good and bad on both sides. I've known preachers who were cheaters, and I can point to several haters on this forum who aren't religious, lying and making false accusations. It's a big world and I wish we could get along better, but some people simply want to polarize and use the differences to instigate hatred. So sad. That's part of the reason I don't watch sports, my favorite team is my family, and my next favorite team is the Army.
Atheists think that they can dictate what a "Religious" person believes. They discriminate against those who believe in Hod. That is where the rub is.

Interesting: your bigotry knows no bounds, Mr Genuine Christian™.
Your hypocrisy is also showing.
Atheists have NO right to any protection under "Freedom of Religion". Theism=Belief in God. Atheism=An absence of Theism. The constitution protects Religious worship. In atheism there is NOTHING there to protect.

And thank you as well. I have no problem discussing these things with these hate mongers, but it's good to know that there is another reasonable voice to listen to. You're welcome to critisize me as well, and I see by your # that you have no problems posting your input. If you scroll back a few pages and read, you'll see how this discussion is going. According to them, I'm a bully, a fake, etc. Yet, at the moment I'm sitting in a DLL (Distance Learning Lab), surrounded by Soldiers blogging and researching, getting ready to graduate and go home prior to deploying. I can offer no proof of this, but those on this forum posting against me have clearly stated they have no military experience, but CAN tell me how things are in the military. So there we are. For what it's worth, thank you for your input.

<quoted text>I don't know about spell casters and witch doctors, except what I see in movies. If there is a message of hate or other such ungodly guidance in the Bible, then it conflicts with my beliefs as to the true message that we should be trying to follow and i attribute that message to someone twisting the Word around for their own goals. If you assume that I'm a blind follower of such things, then you may choose to do so. My personal opinion is that I choose to concentrate my beliefs on the New Testament, and the guidance of the words (said to be) of Jesus. I too have been to many different churches and gotten exposed to different interpretations of the verses. I recall an Easter service lasting a full 90 minutes, and Jesus only being mentioned...once. Trust me when I say that that particular preacher did not impress me, nor would I follow where he might lead- i have my own mind about such things. One of the most memorable sermons i ever attended talked about tithing, and i thought, "here we go...". The tithing that was requested (as it turned out) wasn't money, it was your time. Quite honestly, if you want to use the military as a vehicle for what is wrong with religon, you may be on to something there. A sad number of people claiming to be Christians are perhaps ignoring the Golden Rule, but in the military it is doctrine: Lead From the Front. In other words, don't set the standard, Be the Standard. Show that it can be done. Lead by example. You folks have a great day.
There are no differences between the witch doctor and the priest, the spell casters, ministers, clergy and bone chunkers, they are those to whom power is granted and whose pockets are lined, as they act as man's liaisons to the gods.

I pity Atheists,I do not hate them.

The richness of the lives of those who believes in God is indescribable.

Atheists have no tight to erode the rights of the Religious. No right to special treatment because they object to the worship of God.They have freedom not to believe but CAN'y force their non religious views on others.

YOU have no idea what any of my "desires" are.

I cannot help but expect that if I told you I blindly believe everything in the Bible to be absolute- you'd find a way to make a negative comment about that as well. You guys find boogeymen in every closet that is opened. How sad a way to look at life.

If Islam is your enemy, then your war is civil, it is your brother, you wage war against. He and you serve the same god.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Aquarius

Someone is confused and muddled today, making it difficult to talk for long without becoming equally bemused. Avoid making decisions or researching important information, because there's a strong possibility of getting crossed wires, or talking at cross purposes. A memory may also be distorted now, leading to mix-ups or bewilderment.
