The fact is that Bush was given intel reports before 9/11 that showed that terrorists planned to use planes as weapons.
Sibel Edmonds, who was hired shortly after Sept. 11 to translate intelligence gathered over the previous year related to the 9/11 attacks. She says the FBI had information that an attack using airplanes was being planned before Sept. 11 and calls Condoleezza Rice’s claim the White House had no specific information on a domestic threat or one involving planes "an outrageous lie.
OF course planning started long before Bush even decided to run for President, Planning was started by Iraqi counter intellignece and alqueda, Remember John Doe II.

I support seperation of Church and state, in the past Religios fanatics denied those rights they claimed for themselves to others deemed UnChristian. Native people only regained religios freedom in 1978. From about 1900 we were subject to abuses by religios groups sent to DeIndianize Us. We do not want your prayers your Social Cultural or Racial Discrimination. It might suprise you but We are capable of religious thought without your help.

So your god stood by and let Satan and his friends kill all those people?

What a worthless god. Why would you want to believe in such an inept being? Obviously he has no power to do anything to help.
He does strangly resemble...... Oh, I know!!! A myth!!!

Maybe it's because I've been atheist for so long now, and during that time I've continued to look at religions and the methods of belief surrounding them, but that the "religionist", "goddite", theist, etc..., doesn't see and understand that it's all myth fascinates me.

That in and of itself has almost become a hobby of sorts, looking at the bizarre world of religious belief and how it functions.

At this point if I saw a zealot standing on a street corner preaching the dangers of Medusa, to me that's no different than a person talking about worshiping the Jesus.

They might as well be urging people to worship a volcano god.

I know exactly what you are saying!!

I have often wondered how a christian(in this case) can keep a straight face in the following situation.....

If you tell him about a fellow who talked to an angel and was given tablets to decipher, and started his own religion, and they would say "Bah!, that's those mormons, that's not real, who believes that stuff?", than you can tell them about a man who talked to god, and rode his horse to heaven and talked to the prophets and started his own religion, and they would say "Bah!, that's Islam, that's not real, who believes that stuff?", and than you could tell tham about how when you die, you get to come back as another creature until you understand the universe, and are allowed into heaven. And they would say "Bah!, that's reincarnation, that's not real, who believes that stuff?". And than you could tell them about a boy who at age eleven was taken to a special school to learn about the magic he had inside him, and save the world from an evil being, and they would say "BAAAAAH!! That's Harry Potter, that's not real, who would believe that stuff!!". Lastly, you tell them about a guy who had a virgin mother, turned water into wine, fed thousands with a couple of fishes and some bread, reanimated dead people, cured people by touching them, died and came back to life... And they would say "Oh yeah, that's all true and believable, and everyone should believe it!!"

I just can't figure it.

Omnibenevolence is contradictory to killing evry 1st Egyptian child. So there's that one.
Omnibenevolence is contradictory to killing every single one of his children except for eight.
When they ignore the killing parts, there is no contradictions.
They will only see he saved eight.
