This whole story sickens me to no end. If the 19 year old would have complied with police orders, nobody would have died here. How dare these parents challenge the police in this case. How dare they take their son's part when he was always in trouble with the law and obviously had no regard for authority or life. Are they truly so blind to what kind of person their son was? How incredibly absurd to blame the police for planting a weapon. I never heard of such twisted and demented theories and warped minds to think up things such as this and blame the police. The police would never have shot their own police dog. This family is using the police as scapegoats and they should NOT get away with it. Oh, by the way, I can just guess what witnesses came up with these horrendous and absurd theories and fabrications about the police planting weapons.
I hope they lose this case against the police and I hope that justice does, indeed, prevail. These parents need a reality check about what kind of person their son really was and that he posed a threat to society, being he had so many previous offenses, but some people are in denial as to what their kids are really like, or they just condone and excuse their behavior, or cover for all the wrong they do.
The police should be permitted to do their job without people such as this standing in the way of justice. As far as I'm concerned, they need to get more threats off of the streets that pose a danger to those desiring to live in peace.
I commend the police officers for upholding the law and not allowing this kind of misconduct to prevail. I'm just sorry that Aulf was shot.
My sincere condolences to the police officers for the loss of Aulf. Faithful and loyal to the end. God keep you in His care...forever.

For anyone interested in donating to Ulf's funeral/memorial fund, please donate to the:
Fraternal Order of Police
Lodge #1
1428 Banksville Rd.
Pittsburgh, Pa. 15216

His name was misspelled last week, as Aulf.
Not only was the K-9 a police officer, but, it was the handler's pet, companion & partner.
This scumbag that did this got what he deserved. I'm only sorry that the poor innocent dog had to die.The news stations were too quick to show his mother/dad saying that someone is going to pay for what they did to "my baby" Why didn't they ask, "why did my baby have a gun on him?", or better yet, "why did my baby fire the gun?" or even, "why was my baby out so late?" This punk had a rap sheet as long as my arm and has been in trouble for years. You live the life, you die the life. I had called the F.O.P. today to confirm some information that I heard on KDKA Radio earlier today with regards to Ulf, and they gave me the address in which to send donations. They ask that you put Ulf on the memo line, if you are sending a check. You may call them to verify the information, if you would like.( I originally had the ph# listed for the F.O.P., but received a message that Topix does not really want you to list phone numbers, ss#'s, etc...) You may google it, or call Directory assistance.
I hope that people find it in their hearts to donate to this organization & cause as the police are putting their lives on the line everyday to protect us and keep us safe from scumbags like this Justin character. God Bless Ulf and every policeman out there
Thank You
