Father pleads guilty in overdose death of infant daughter
A former Ansonia man has pleaded guilty to criminal charges related to the death of his 7-month-old daughter, who died of an overdose of cocaine and cold medicine three years ago.
Forty-two-year-old Steven Bobbins pleaded guilty in Derby Superior Court to risk of injury to a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia, charges that carry more than 10 years in prison. Sentencing is set for June 5.
Similar charges against the child's mother, Lois Tremblay, are pending. She is free on bail and her next court appearance is April 23. Read more
