Nicole Reed got the horrifying call shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday. It was from her 13-year-old daughter, Parris. via The Dallas Morning News

Parris is doing good. She is at home now but she is still very weak. She got to go home last week so she was in the hospital for about 2 and a half months . She will be fine though.

Parris is doing GREAT!! She still has a hard time mentally, but who wouldn't!!! She misses her sister dearly!!!!! |

Parris Reed has been my best friend since kindergarden and now we are 13 and 14. Delaney and i were very close almost sisters. Me and Parris are always going to be sad. But it will eventually get better. Im always going to be there for her help if she needs me. Shes back at school and sports and dance! Shes doing ALOT better. just letting everyone know.:]
