James Michael Gluff

What I have seen over and over again as I look through all the articals that have been written on Michael's wife is there is no mention of my daughter. My daughter up to a month ago was engaged to Michael and is four months pregnet with his son. Hope may have been married to Michael when he was engaged to my daughter but I highly dought it. It would have been nice to have an artical that mentions my daughter so we would have something that we could show thier son someday. It's just a shame that it worked out this way.

According to the articles, the Gluffs were married in 2005 after basic training. Something in the original post just doesn't add up.

Hope (his wife) has cheating on Michael and they split up and went their seperate ways!

Yes she knows and had a good frendship with my daughter. I would think that she is trying to keep a relationship with Hope for the sake of Micheal Wayne, Micheal's son. My daught has been asked to interview since I posted my comments, but she declinde feeling that Micheal wouldn't want it.

First of all Hope was not cheating on Michael. Your daughter was seeing a married man, who was not divorced or even legally seperated. I would think you would be grieving for more for his family than your grandbaby born out of wedlock. How could they be engaged if he was till married?? I can imagine other reasons why your doughter would refuse interviews.

I have a first hand account of what has happened. If Hank's granddaughter is pregnant by Michael, then she was having an affair with a married man. Hope and Michael were married. There are documents to prove it and there was never a divorce. You should be ashamed that your daughter would enter into a relationship with a married man, especially knowing that he had a child with his wife. From what I have heard, your daughter is know for being promiscuous. Michael actually denied being the father(denied it to his mother too). She probably denies the interviews because she is not that honest.

In addition, Hope did not cheat on Michael. Maybe Hank and Heather should get their facts straight before they go around slandering people.

Michael has passed on. You can't not be engaged to someone who is married. And your daughter probably fell in a briar patch and doesn't know which one stuck her the deepest. Your daughter should be ashamed of herself for getting involved with a married man, let alone get pregnant by him.
Why on earth would you want that broadcasted to the world? All that really matters here is Michael Wayne and no one else.

Were Michael and Hope separated or not? Was there a divorce in the works? Why wasn't Hank's daughter (Cait) mentioned in Michael's obituary? If Michael did leave an unborn son (Jeffery Michael) behind, what's going to happen to him? Are the Gluffs going to recognize this boy as family or not? Is this "secret" son eligible for some of Michael's military death benefits?

Oh, and why wasn't the "engaged" Cait at the funeral? Why wasn't she sitting in the front row, next to Michael's mother?

Is no one going to point out that the guy involved here was possibly guilty of lying and whoring or is it ok since he is now deceased? There are still children involved and if she can prove its his child, married or not, the child does get military benefits. Personally I'd take it to the letter for my child especially if he had been lying to me about his marital status. And with all this confusion, some one is lying.

Well, yes he is guilty too. But, a few hours before his death, he spoke with Hope and the two of them made up and decided they would work on their relationship problems when he returned from Iraq.In addition, from what I can tell, Cait has had her baby and has not made an attempt to prove that the baby is Michael's. If she can, the baby will receive help. To be sure, Michael was NOT engaged to Cait because he WAS STILL married to Hope. She(Cait) was not at the funeral or his memorial because she was nothing to Michael except maybe an easy lay. Sorry to be blunt-but that is all it was. Cait is lying about being engaged to Michael. Both Michael and Cait were in the wrong. But at least Michael was able to admit his wrong doings to Hope and gain forgiveness before he died. Never once has Cait called and apologized to Hope. Instead, all she has ever done is call Hope and call her bad names. And plus she is creating lies after his death by saying that she was engaged to him. I think she is just trying to look "nice" for her family.

Oh yeah. He is only guilty of lying to Hope. Cait was fully aware that he was still married. Moreover, she was living with another man when she got involved with Michael. She is not an innocent party and does not deserve to be treated as an innocent victim. She was fully aware of what she was doing.
