Technically, the corner of Conkling St. and Fait Avenue, lies in Highlandtown, not Canton.

Technically, the Corner of Conkling St. and Fait Avenue is Canton, but is referred to as Brewers Hill. And technically the owners were home, who are easily the nicest and most welcoming people that a person may know. Further more my thoughts go out to these incredible people who have not only lost their business but their home and personal possessions that can not be replaced.

Right on Lauren. I actually know the March's as I am great friends with their youngest daughter Joy. Yes, they were home and asleep in the apartment but luckely one of the staff happened to be stocking the bar at 4:30am. That is how they got out. It just frustraits me when reporters can not get things right. If your going to report on something, give the correct report or don't do it at all. Hopefully, enough money can be raised with some upcoming benefits that are going to be thrown for the bar.

Knotty pine is coming back bigger and better than ever. Rodney was the bartender that got Coach and Alice out there is a great piece on WJZ 13.

Technically it is not Canton or Highland Town,it is now considered Brewers Hill.Canton is Yuppies,Highland Town is m*m's and Brewers Hill is just friendly elders who know one another and look out for each other. If the City would close CANTON MIDDLE SCHOOL all 3 area's would be as one and the residents wouldn't have to worry about their homes or their selves being harmed. The Knotty Pine has dealt with these thugs for years along with the rest of the residents whom have to deal with this scum. It's to bad it wasn't the school that burned down.

There is no response to be made besides the apparent lack of compassion for your city and local neighborhood. And yes technically it is Canton but in fact "Canton" was originally Highland Town - get a map. Onto more important topics- the Knotty Pine is on its way back and is being completely rebuilt. Can't wait to see the good people of the pine again and Jerry I hope you stop by so that the patrons of the Knotty Pine can give a quick geography lesson over a beer.
