Smoking pot doesn't affect driving ability, so that's a non-issue

When I smoked pot, now over 30 years ago, I would get lost in the dark though driving in an area I knew very well if straight. I also could feel panic if driving on a crowded highway. Pot affects all the senses; to say driving high is the same as driving straight is just an excuse to keep driving high. Stay off my roads...please.

Dope does impair judgement: and you are too stoned to notice how stupid you are.

I wouldn't know how true or untrue this is as I am not a pot smoker, but I am willing to put my money on the fact that it DOES impair driving- and obviously judgment!

Either way, smoking pot is illegal. Another box to check when he is charged, sentenced, and paying for his crimes. This is why it is called DUI (driving under the influence- of anything that impairs one's ability to drive safely) rather than DWI (driving while intoxicated).

Go smoke some pot and drive your car off a cliff!!!! There are families that have lost loved ones lives because of mixing pot & alcohol, which we now know for a fact... and you still defend it. You have no respect for life, obviously that is why you are ruining your own by having a drug habit. This world would be better off without you!!!

Taking any drug with another is always a bad idea. This pointed article says thet marijuana was found and that there were signs of it possibly have been smoked in the glass pipe found. The article also states that the paraphenelia found could have been gathered from one car to another... At this point, this sounds like it may be far fetched...
Trying to state that smoking an illegal substance doesn't affect motor abilities is not relevant in this case. If people need to ingest THC for medical reasons... I can understand that, but smoking a joint, drinking a couple beers, and then driving... Well, that's a personal act that you have to deal with... I am friends with a few people associated with NORML, and I can rest assured that if their kids got killed because someone drank a few drinks and smoked a few joints, and then made the personal decision to drive... Well, they'd be calling their lawyers right quick!

Wow, I'm sure you're parents are proud of an attitude like that. Hell, why don't you go into the field of psychology, you seem to know what's best for people.

My point (your point is on the top of your head) is that many in Santa Fe want another legal substance, pot, which will be used by people before and while they are driving.

Isn't alcohol bad enough?

Daily Horoscope for November 8

Libra

Call your friends and make a play date for tonight; it's time you got out and had some fun. The Moon passing through flamboyant Leo is urging you to frolic with your most colourful playmates... don't sit inside alone during this time frame. True, these same friends may drive you mad with their dramatic tales, but you can thank your lucky stars that your life seems tame in comparison to the tricky fixes they find themselves in.
