This law does not go far enought to deal with the core issues. Core issues requires a deep discussion of class, race, and limits of economic liberty in this country.

Maybe the illegals are just staying home out of the heat,(anyone who lives in AZ, knows their electric bill can be outrageous in the summer months ) and can't afford to eat out, less money to spend, or saving their money for when they decide to leave. The article didn't even touch on those possibilities. In any case, I feel sorry for the people of New Mexico which will probably get most of the illegals leaving AZ. It's closer to Arizona, and the Governor of New Mexico is a a.. hole. He'll protect them....

Followed by ER visits to hospitals. Stats on those 2 catergories starting with 2004 or 5 would be an accurate indicator. Spanish surnamed students made up about 35% of students in Maricopa county , some school districts like Alhambra were above 60% Spanish surnamed students.

Since its against federal government policies, they and the people of NM should get together and drive Richardson out of his ivory tower. Then they need to close down all sanctuary cities in both NM AND California.
