pea sized lump on head of Epididymis but no pain at all.

Hi there,
since yesterday I noticed that there was a small pea-sized lump on what I think is the head of the Epididymis of the left testicle based on what I have read on the internet (I could be touching something else but I am not completely sure). I do not have and cannot remember having had anypain in my groin area and pressing gently onthe lump does not make it painful either. However, I noticed that the lump is slightly bigger and harder that the head of the Epididymis on my right testicle.
Would anyone have any idea on what it might be? There are no other lumps anywhere else on the actual testicules.

Hey dude i felt the same thing with a little tenderness when I touch it I'm going to go see a doctor I advise the same. Better safe than sorry.

I am experiencing the same thing on my left testicle only mine has been accompanied by on and off pain. I saw a doctor about it and he thought it was an infection of the epididymis and gave me antibiotics for it. They haven't really been working, but it is probably still probably either an infection or an STD.

I've had the same thing in my right testicle for almost ten years now. No pain. I saw a urologist and he described it as some sort of cyst but nothing to be concerned about, and that it wouldn't affect fertility. Recently my epididymuis has been swelling on the same side causing some discomfort. Antibiotics lots of water, and no coffee has helped reduce the swelling.

I'm a 33 year old white guy. I have the exact same thing that I just noticed on my right testicle. It doesn't appear to be on the testi but in the epyd.. I have a similar feature on my left side, but about 1/10th the size. Am going to have it checked during in my yearly physical next week.

Yea I've got one of these too, and while it is a little tender, its been around for a couple years now. And it's weird because the tenderness is an on and off sort of thing. Wonder what it is

WTF Does anyone know what this is? Im living overseas. And I have sort of the same problem. I have a Pea sized lump in or on the epididymis. its not solid and moves around but it is defantally attached some sort of way. Its not painful but I guess that i do Experience a dull pain from time to time. also when my sack is tight, Its really dark almost past red to blue. WTF is it. Im getting so freaked out that it may be cancer.

Damn, seems like everyone has this, I dont think it's anything to worry about as it seems pretty common.

I have this aswell, except on both.
On my right testicle it's not ON the testicle but kinda floats around one area, though it's still attached to my testicle. I can put my finger in between it and the testicle. On the other one it's attached and small and tub shape.

I've had both for a few years, but I think I'm still going to see a doctor about it. Sure, these people's testimonies as assuring, but until I know for sure I'm going to play it safe. I rather not die, I have things I plan on doing. I suggest anyone else who just researched this on google to do the same.

have these same symptoms too on my right side except mine is like it's attached to the top part of the testicle... had it for years and only recently have i been experiencing some dull pain on it.... had a doctor check it out a few years back and he sez it's nothing to be concerned about.... then again if it's nothing to be concerned about,... why ain't it a normal thing? i'm on a small island in the middle of the pacific and can't really get a second opinion so i sure hope somebody could relay some informationand help.....wht the hell is it?

I have had one of these for the past 20 years or so. It is on the right side, on the top of the testicle, right next to the head of the epididmys. Size of a pea but changes, bigger sometimes, smaller others.

I went to a Dr. when I first found it and he gave me a scrotal sonogram. He said it is a fluid filled cyst, an "Epididimyl Cyst". He said it's nothing to worry about. 3 years ago I had a vasectomy, I mentioned it to the dr (different dr than checked me out 20 years ago.) He checked me out said it was fine. I think the size change is because of fluid(sperm)building up and then draining off.

Sometimes if I get a weird ache in my nuts, if it goes on for more than a day I take a HOT bath and give them a long soak. That clears any issue up.

You guys should never be afraid to seek the help of a Dr. It will ease your mind and it's good for you. Taking care of yourself is the ultimate expression of wellness :-) Be Well !

Well lads, im 22 and found a pea size lump on my right nut when i was it 13 and shat myself! Got it checked by a urologist, who claimed it was an epididymal cyst! Now it has started to pain me in a throb sort of way, and im goin back to see the urologist, i wonder is there anyway of gettin the ole cyst drained or an operation to remove the cyst? Ill let ye know what happens anyway!

does this kind of infection kills sperm cell

im 15 years old and have experienced a similar lump on my epididymis on the top of my right testicle.
im going to see a doctor tomorrow, but from what ive read so far is that in most cases, this is just a simple cyst that nearly all guys have. if it starts to grow or start to be painful, then definately go to the doctor. in cases with sudden pain and inflamed tubes, then it is most likely epididymitis, which is just an infection caused by the common bacteria e. coli. it can also be caused by stds such as chlamydia and gonorrhea, but is less likely. it can also be a result of a urinary tract infection and poor sanitation in the groin area.
